Who runs Pet Disco

Pet Disco is run by one person, Dennis Peper, as an individual and not as a company. There is no company behind it, no board and no investors, which is why there's no company number or VAT identification number here to give you.

A postal address is not published here yet. [email protected] reaches the same person in the meantime, and we will give you a postal address on request.

The site, the database and every video and image are hosted in the EU by Hetzner Online GmbH, on servers we run ourselves. Our Privacy Policy says who else touches your data and what they do with it.

How to reach us

One address reaches us for everything: [email protected]. There's no contact form, no ticket number and no telephone queue, and a person reads it.

It is also our single point of contact for authorities, including for anything under the Digital Services Act. We answer in English. If you're writing on behalf of an authority, say so in the subject line so it isn't read as an ordinary support question.

Reporting content

Every clip in the app has a report control, under the share button. That's the quickest route and it tells us exactly which clip you mean.

Anything with no report control of its own - a profile, a pack, a comment or a worry that fits none of those - goes to [email protected]. Tell us what you saw and where you saw it, with a link if you have one. You don't need an account to report something to us, and you don't need to explain the law to us.

How we handle reports

A person reads every report. We're small enough that this is a fact rather than a form of words.

What we can do about one: nothing, remove the clip, remove a comment or disable the account behind it. Disabling an account hides it rather than deleting it, and the person is told, which our Terms of Use describes.

We tell whoever posted the thing what we did and why, and we tell whoever reported it what came of it. If you think we got it wrong, say so at [email protected] and a human will look again.

Illegal content and content we simply don't want here are different things, and we treat them as different: our Terms of Use lists what may not be posted, which is a longer list than the law's.

Our size, and what it changes

Pet Disco is a micro business with one person in it, a category European law recognises: the heavier Digital Services Act duties, such as publishing transparency reports and funding an out-of-court dispute body, fall on services far larger than this one. Nothing on this page is one of those, and none of it is conditional on our size.
